Green Heron Gets a fish

Jen pointed this out to me and we watched a Green Heron try to eat a fish it caught.. the Fish was a bit on the big side and our friend the Green Heron struggled and eventually won!… I think he will be full for a while!

Our First big day was in McAllen Texas at Bentsen Rio grande St. Park. Its right on the Rio Grande River and had some of our best birds!
