Dad and Micheal came down and we trekked to San Antonio for a walk through the Missions National park…it all starts way out south at Mission Espada..
We Do have a couple of horses.. I don’t ride a ton, but Jen does and I snapped these shots when we went out and built a new trail that Jen had designed in the acreage behind the barn.

We had worked out way up the Rio Grande moving west, and we were approaching Laredo. Our last birding stop before heading north was in San Ygnacio, an amazing small town that had never moved forward in time. They had a great nature area near the river with good security from our friends on the border patrol.
Back to a little Christmas for you… here is the Famous Austin tradition, called the Trail of lights.. We went with our Niece and nephew!
