After hanging around the swimming hole for a bit, Jen and I hiked down Hamilton creek to the Pedernales river. The creek is stunning, Lined with Ferns, Rocky out crops, in some cases forming a tunnel to walk through.. and Giant Cypress trees grew all along the banks as we walked.
