As we started to head to the parking lot maybe about 1/2 mile to go or so.. we encountered not 1 but 2 of these large black snakes laying across the trail. I was out front and I nearly stepped on the first one.. and he was BIG… After that i had my eyes open and we spotted a second one.. that really did not want to get off the trail and I had to coax him with a stick.. Exciting..and fun!
