Edinburgh Wildlife Refuge

April 26, 2013 by Dogger

Edinburgh Wildlife refuge was our next stop on the trip..and our first World birding center stop. Edinburgh is located just north of McAllen Texas and poised at the gateway to the Rio Grande Valley.. or ” The Valley” as its known here in Texas.  The Winds were still very challenging, but this small sheltered spot did give us some first views and jump started our species count..
