So I kinda debated on the title for this post.. we have the fine City of Nauvoo and it is really nice.. well kept. We took the tour of the surrounding area and this is a Mormon town and discusses how the Mormons were persecuted here and began the trek to a new home, subsequently in Utah. I thought the title of the post might be revisionist history as the tale told of the Mormon plight was, shall we say, ” Adjusted ” from most other historical accounts of the area… something for you all to look up and decide..
anyway.. nice town..
