Sea Rim St Park

October 30, 2012 by Dogger

Sea Rim is still a state park, but not much is there… Hurricane Ike pretty much wiped it off the map.. today some super structures are still visible, but there are no real facilities.. but a nice beach camping spot. The real sweetness is the remote nature of the park. It hides at the end of TX HWY 73 which no longer goes all the way through to the Bolivar peninsula. So to come here.. you have to really be going here.. no one just drives by..

The Bench made it..

Replaced sign

Ruins of the office area?

a Rebuilt research station

Maybe an old dock? I wouldn’t swim in there.. to many Gators
