I got a great rain gauge at Callahans earlier this year..Before this post which will show our rain totals thought August and up to date.. we had not had any measurable rain Since July 5th.. things are looking better now, but it was dry for a long time.. lets see how we did..

So a 25 day gap with no rain and on July 30 we got a little kiss of 7 tenths..

We got a little sun and another 2 tenths on August 1st..

Then a 18 day gap of no rain followed by a decent 1.1 inches in about 24 hours On August 22

Then about 2 weeks later we got our first big rain in a while with 2.3 inches in about 2 and half days on September 4th..making for a pre labor day soggy week

Now this is what we need another 1.4 inches on Sept 10th and about 10 days after the last rain.. this is good stuff!!

And Finally, we had some wild predictions for Tropical store Beta here, but ultimately we only saw one day of rain and a few days of clouds.. a solid Half inch came down and right at about 13 days later from the last rain, this was yesterdays reading sept 23
