After Lunch Jen and I headed over to Gros Venture and took a walk with our friends the Carlson’s.. It was great to see them and we saw some wonderful wild flowers. Then we headed over Towagatee Pass to Dubois, Wy and the Tcross Ranch. Shots below of our Wonderful Cabin.

A tiny town at the entrance to Grand Teton National Park.. You cross a bridge across the Snake river and there is a gas station with a wonderful Deli. Jen and I hung out on the bridge over the Snake and saw some Bull Moose, a Bohemian Waxwing, and a great view of Jackson Hole ski area.

While at Schwabacher landing we did see a few birds and some ducks taking care of their young. Below we see the Common Golden eye and I think the classic female mallard..then it looks like a crowned sparrow of some kind..good stuff!

Jen knew a little turn off that dropped down to some beaver ponds on the flats by the Snake River.. as we walked down the path we got some great reflections off the water.. We hoped to see the beaver, but we did not see much recent activity here..

It was still pretty early in the day and Jen and I drove further north to the Jackson Lake Lodge. I had an Espresso which was excellent. We hoped to see some Sand hill cranes, but not this time.. we did see some Buffalo on the way back.. And the Views.. were outstanding.

Moving further North in the Park we drove up to the top of Signal Mountain. Providing excellent views of Mt. Moran and the Snake River Valley. Although a Large fire South of Jackson did bring quite a bit of smoke to the valley that day..
