The Pups had the park to themselves and were just romping in the grass!

The Platt Lane Hike catches up with the Colorado river, but does not follow it to closely…
This is really the old platt lane near Hornsby bend.. but the trail is lined by the prickly pear cactus the whole way it seems..Dogs love it!

Around the back side of the Trammel crossing trail is a Geocache located near some old pioneer graves, and I love to visit this place on the hike..

Trammel crossing is a great trail about 35 miles west of Austin. But.. you gotta get your feet wet on the crossing.. and its a good climb to the overlook…
