We Rolled in for Christmas and had a Swinging time!! It was Katie’s birthday!

The Trail gets steep and exposed as you descend swift current pass..2000 feet down into the valley…
The Weather looked better up and over the pass.. it was gusting winds and light rain, but we were going to drop elevation soon!
Half Way! and Lunch time.. at the very historic Granite park Chalet. On this day the clouds were moving in and we considered cutting the hike short due to weather conditions. Our next couple miles were up and over swift current pass and with rain and what not, that could be a problem..we pressed on..
Well, Lots of good stuff! Dacat and I got over to Hoovers cooking!
We were almost to Granite Park Chalet for lunch on the High Line Trail and we ran into some Big Horn Sheep Browsing above the trail. The Views were Epic and the Clouds were settling back in.
For the first half of the trail it did not really outright rain, and it looked as if it might lift for a bit. then we started the slow ascend up Haystack butte and up to the half way point of Granite park Chalet. The Clouds moved in, and Thick..
Jen, Her Bother Jimmy and I took off on the High Line Trail..15 or so miles up and over Swift current pass to Many Glacier from the top of Logan pass. We left early and it was COLD and Rainy.. we were in for a FUN day!
